Hardback First Edition. A good copy with pictorial dust jacket over green cloth boards. The dust jacket is a little worn especially to the extremities with tape repair to the underside. The cloth boards are a little discoloured in places although present well. There is the occasional foxing to the margins, however the pages remain fairly clean throughout. Illustrated with several black and white photographic images. pp. 256. The author, one of the most respected authorities on the subject, starts with the Napier and continues with Wolseley "Beetles", early Vauxhall, Sunbeam, Bentley, ERA and post war the Connaughts, BRM, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Vanwall & the Cooper.
