This is the first biography of Issigonis, whose career spans over 40 years of engineering challenge. The author traces this remarkable story from Sir Alec's early work in the 1930s through the development of the popular Minor, Mini and its derivatives, to his continuing work as a consultant following his retirement from British Leylan/Austin Rover in the 1970s. The text is accompanied by black and white photographs and other illustrations, many of which are from private sources. Overall, this book is in very good condition. The pages are bright and clean, and the cover remains glossy.
