This lovely 1949 first impression of "The Story of Brooklands Volume 2" by W. Boddy is oused in its original green dustjacket featuring a black and white photograph of cars racing at Brooklands. Bound in navy buckram with gold gilt lettering to its spine, this book has 544 pages of text supplemented with black and white photographs, it tells the story of what happed at Broolands from 1925-1932, also containing a foreword by John Cobb. This book is in good condition, though the dustjacket is significantly damaged and thus can only be described as fair, the book is remarakably clean and readble for its age, though the spine is weak. This book is looking for a new home, and would be a perfect gift for any motoring enthusiasts.
