The Story of Brooklands Volume 3

W. Boddy

Edition: First Impression

Published By: Grenville Publishing Company Ltd.

This lovely 1950 first impression of "The Story of Brooklands Volume 3" by W. Boddy is housed in its original blue dustjacket with a black and white photograph of racing at Brooklands. Bound in navy buckram with gold gilt lettering to the spine, this book has 800 pages of text including indices, detailing the story of Brooklands in the immediate pre-war period, and it is peppered with black and white photographs. This book, which includes a foreword by John Cobb, is in good condition. Though the dustjacket is significantly damaged and thus can only be described as fair, the book itself is remarkably clean and readable despite its age. This book is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any motoring enthusiast.
