Hebrard, General de Brigade aerienne, containing the 1946 first edition "Tome I: La Genese du Drame Aerien de 1940", and the 1947 first edition, "Tome II: La Guerre Aerienne 1939-1945". Both hardback books are quarter bound in dark green cloth, and feature stunning green marbled boards. Each edition, written entirely in French, features black ink illustrations, maps, and tables to assist the reader in understanding the history, development, and operational use of French military aviation throughout this period. This stunning two volume set is in very good condition - though the marble design on the boards of the second volume is slightly yellowed, and though there are library stamps on the free endpapers of both books - there are few other notable imperfections.
