Edition: First Edition

Published By: Sampson Low, Marston & Company Ltd.

Hardback. Being the Tenth Year of Publication of Fred T. Janes influential aviation yearbook, this one published in 1919. Edited and Compiled by C.G. Grey. Part A. All The World's Aeroplanes. Part B. All The World's Aero-Engines Part C. All The World's Airships. The book provides a detailed look on the developement and use of aircraft during a pivotal time in history, transitioning from Wartime use to commercial aspects. The binding has been re-backed and so remains in good condition despite a little scuffing to the original cloth. There is cracking to the internal hinges and tape and been applied to the front and rear free endpapers with large adverts added to the now blank paste-downs. The front free endpaper is a little creased. Small neat inscription to the top of the title page while the remaining pages are clean. There are adverts to a large portion of the prelims. Overall a good copy of a scarce title. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
