Hardback. Handsomely bound in half red coth with marble paper sides and marble endpapers with the original card wrappers bound in. LION Series IIB Aero Engine, Air Publication 882, 3rd Editiion January, 1928 is also present within the book, with the original wrappers.There is a signature of WF Nicholson to several pages within, possibly original due to several ink splashes. There are several library labels and ink stamps within the book. The pages, however are very clean and illustrated with several photographic images, diagrams and folding plans. The binding is a little worn with a white library mark to the base of the spine and embossed stamp to the rear. Amendment List No. 3 and 4 have been loosely placed within the book. A descriptive handbook for the information and guidance on the Lion series Aero-Engine, one of the most successful high powered aero-engines developed during the First World War. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
