Hardback. Bound copy of the Official Air Ministry Report. First Edition with 3 large folding plans /maps to the rear. Bound in green cloth with gilt titles to the front. Ex-library edition with white numerical figures to the base of the front board and label with "Library Rules" to the front paste-down. The pages are clean with the exception of the last text page, which is slightly grubby with tape repair along the hinge. Embossed library stamps throughout. Overall a good copy often known as Dowding's despatch, this supplement reprints the official report submitted to the Secretary of State by Air, by Lord Dowding.
