Hardback. A First Edition of the first-hand account of the first civil passenger flight from London to Delhi by Sir Samuel Hoare with an introduction by Lady Maud Hoare. Inscription from the authors to the front free endpaper, dated Christmas 1927. The dust jacket with a pictorial front cover shows a little edge wear and discolouration to the rear. It does however, have a clean front cover and is unclipped. Underneath lie pale blue paper covered boards with a small white paper title band to the spine. The extremities and spine are a little toned although clean and showing very little wear. There is a touch of foxing to the prelims and to the rear otherwise the pages are very clean. Illustrated with several black and white photographic images and maps to the endpapers. Errata sheet inserted into to the contents page. pp. xix + 156. Overall a very good copy.
