Hardback. The Fourth Printing of this fascinating story of William Bridgeman's story of America's experimental high-speed airplanes. With inscription from the author to the front free endpaper. Complete with a pictorial dust jacket which is clean and bright, however, there is wear and closed tears to the extremities with minor chipping to the top and base of the spine. Underneath lie cloth boards which are lightly discoloured along the outer hinges although clean and in good condition. The pages are clean and illustrated with a few black and white photographic plates. pp. 316. Overall a fascinating title, scarce with signature.
