Hardback. A first edition copy of A.E. Clouston's aviation career, covering his time as a test pilot, wartime operations, and his participation in a number of air races and attempts at speed records. Signed by the author to the title page. The pictorial dust jacket has a clean and bright front cover although worn to the extremities with light fading to the spine. Underneath lie navy cloth boards which although in good condition, there is a little fading along the base and a slight lean to the spine. This is an ex-library copy with ink stamp and paper residue to the endpapers. The rest of the pages are slightly toned but clean. Contains several photographic images in black and white. pp. x + 187. Overall a good copy of a scarce title, signed by the author.
