Hardback. Owen Cathcart-Jones autobiography covering the author's naval flying career in the 1920's and civil aviation in the early 1930's. It highlights his record breaking flights, including the England - Australia return trip. Signed by the author to the half title page. Illustrated with numerous black and white photographic plates. The pictorial dust jacket is worn especially to the extremities with chipping to the top and base of the spine. Underneath lie blue cloth boards which present well although faded to the spine. The pages are clean despite the very occasional spot of foxing. pp. 265 + 24. Overall a good copy, rare with it's dust jacket and signature.
