Hardback. A 1956 First Edition complete with dust jacket. Illustrated with a frontispiece and several black and white photographic plates throughout. Overall a good copy with just slight edge wear to the dust jacket, not price clipped. Underneath lie the blue cloth boards which do show some discolouration although with minimal wear. The text block is tight and although the pages are lightly toned they are free of any inscriptions or foxing. pp. xiv + 709. This book is the account of Sir John Slessor, detailing his life through the First and Second World War and into the Cold War. Overall a very good copy.
