Published in 1923 by the The British Fire Prevention Committee this is an historical record of the damage caused by aerial bombardment, including that from zeppelins in the First World War. It includes illustrations and maps, including a large folding map of London to the rear. This document represents an early effort to catalogue and analyse structural damage and fire risks resulting from aerial warfare in the capital. Bound in red cloth with titles in black to the front, this copy is in good condition despite a slightly loose front board and a little foxing, predominantly to the rear. The folding maps and plate are present and intact. A scarce title.
