This lovely edition of "Flower Fairies of the Spring" by Cicely Mary Barker is housed in its original butter yellow dustjacket featuring an illustration of a Larch Fairy. Underneath, this hardback book has a pictorial cover featuring a full-colour image of a Wood-Sorrell Fairy. Inside, one finds charming poems for each type of flower and fairy, and similarly whimsical full-colour full-page illustrations. This copy, and its original dustjacket, are in very good condition, with few notable blemishes or imperfections other than that the dustjacket is a little dirtied and slightly torn in places, and that there is some minor foxing in the book. "Flower Fairies of the Spring" is looking for a new home, and would make for a perfect gift for any Cicely Mary Barker enthusiast.
