Inside, one finds i-xii and 42 pages of text containing several of Jimmy Howcroft's most insightful and moving poetry, concerning his experiences in the war and his life as a disabled man. This book, and its original dustjacket, are in good condition. The dustjacket is torn and bumped, the boards are slightly worn and bumped, and there is foxing throughout this copy. "The Songs of a Broken Airman" is looking for a new home and would make for a lovely gift for any lover of war poetry.
