Hardback. 1918, First Edition. Handsomely bound in blue cloth which despite toning to the spine and minor bumping to the corners is in very good condition. The top edge is gilt while the fore-edge remains untrimmed. The pages are clean despite the occasional spot of foxing and the text is enhanced by the occasional photographic plate of Eric Fox Pitt Lubbock. These, however, show some toning. pp. vii + 253. A touching tribute for a son lost in aerial combat, by his mother Alice (Lady) Avebury.
