Hardback. A First Edition copy with a signature from Douglas Bader dated August 1957 to the front free endpaper. This book is complete with a pictorial dust jacket designed by Mona Moore. Underneath lie bright red cloth boards with titles in gilt to the spine. Overall a very good copy with the dust jacket showing just toning to the spine and rear cover and there is a little chip along the front fore-edge. While the pages within although lightly toned are clean. pp. 352. The story of the work of the Air Rescue Service of the US Air Force.
