"The Broken Trident" is a bold and exciting book, with this copy being signed by the author. In these pages, E F Spanner relays his expert opinions on the policy of British Government, in the period following the First World War, on Imperial Defense and shows the, in his opinion, dramitically terrible results of such policy. This first editon copy is bound in blue cloth with gilt lettering on the spine. Overall, the book is in good quality. There is some foxing to the early pages, but otherwise they are bright and clean throughout. The binding is strong and the covers are undamaged. The dust jacket is in far condition. There are a couple of large open tears to the edges, and sgnificant wear to the extremities. pp. 310.
