Hardback. A 1917, First Edition copy, complete with it's dust jacket and small memorial booklet and facsimile letters from Edward Teshmaker Busk within, including a letter from the author, aged 14 titled "Model Submarine Boats". The dust jacket has discoloured with wear and small pieces missing to the extremities. Underneath lie blue paper covered boards which are a little discoloured to the extremities and spine, although it still presents well. Fore-edge untrimmed. The pages are a little foxed throughout, although the pages are generally clean. Small book-plate to the front paste-down. Illustrated with several photographic images. pp. 92. Edward Teshmaker Busk was an English pioneer of early aircraft design, and the designer of the first full sized efficient inherently stable aeroplane. This book is a touching tribute written by Mary Busk, Edward Teshmaker Bush' mother. A scarce title especially with the dust jacket.
