Hardback. A rare signed First Edition copy on the Norwich based aviation company Boulton & Paul Ltd. Dated 1919 and published for private circulation, with inscription signed by the author to the front free endpaper. Handsomely bound in dark green cloth with titles in gilt to the front. There is slight lifting of the cloth and light edge wear, otherwise the binding is in very good condition. The pages within are clean, despite foxing and toning to the prelims and towards the rear. Illustrated with several photographic plates. pp. 65. During the Great War, Norwich based Boulton & Paul Ltd transformed from a structural engineering firm into a major aircraft manufacturer, producing thousands of planes, including the Sopwith Camel.
