A detailed memoir of Major Willy Coppens, the top Belgian World War I flying ace, known as the "Balloon Buster". The facsimile dust jacket is in a very good clean condition. While underneath the black cloth boards show some edge wear. The pages within are lightly toned although very clean throughout, illustrated with several photographic images. pp. xv + 290 + 28. Overall a good copy, a must for any aviation enthusiast.
