Hardback. A 1925 First Edition title complete with it's dust jacket. This copy also has a slip of paper loosely inserted into the book, with an embossed address in Sussex to the top with the words " With kind regards " from M. Busk. The dust jacket does show a little wear and light discolouration although rare to find complete with it's dust jacket. Underneath lie rich blue cloth boards with light bumping to the corners and spine, however it is showing very little other wear. The pages are remarkably clean given the books age, although there is some pencil notation to page 70. Illustrated with several black and white photographic images. pp. 167. A biographical work in tribute to her two sons, Edward Teshmaker Busk and Hans Ackworth Busk, both of whom were pioneer aviators who lost their lives during the early years of powered flight and World War I.
