By Air To Paris Handley Page

Major C.C. Turner

Published By: Scala House

Circa 1920's This title by Major C.C. Turner is an historical account documenting the pioneering air routes and early passenger experiences between London and Paris following World War I. It describes the aircraft used, the challenges of aerial navigation, and the development of aerial aviation. A very good copy bound with brown paper wraps and tied with string. There is a photographic paper onlay to the front surrounded by pretty gilt decoration. The pages are clean throughout despite the occasional thumb mark. Illustrated throughout by many photographic images and adverts of the time. This copy comes in a brown card folder. Overall a good copy of a scarce title. Part of a huge avation collection acquired by St Marys Books.
