Hardback. The Air Pilot Monthly Supplements was a publication providing essential operational updates, amending the main Air Pilot guide. It included consoldated lists of civil and RAF aerodromes, navigational aids, obstruction reports, and meteorological notices to improve air safety in an era of growing, often visual, aerial naviagtion. These two volumes are bound military style with navy cloth boards with two screw posts, allowing easy removal or addition of pages. The first volume contains supllements from January 1931 to August 1932 in reverse order. This has been divided by a blue order form for the monthly supplements. The rest of the volume contains information on Pilotage Directions, Meteorological Services, Radioelectric Services, Air Stations, and contains both maps and diagrams. The Second volume is dated 1937 and contains information on Air Navigation Regulations, Aerodrome Obstructions, Air Gunnery and Bombing Ranges, Airway Obstrcutions and much more, the text is also highlighted with several maps and diagrams. The second volume has sectional dividers. Overall in very good cndition despite a little rust marks to the spines and rear. A scarce title.
