Hardback. A, 1923 First Edition copy complete with it's dust jacket. A scarce title. This book explores the career of Raynal Cawthorne Bolling, a lawyer and industrialist, and his crucial role in developing American air power during World War I. The dust jacket on this copy is worn with pieces missing, especially to the spine. Quarter bound in navy cloth with blue paper covered boards and gilt titles to the front and spine. There is a little wear to the extremities with loss to the corners. The title page is partly attached while the frontispiece is loose. Previous booksellers ink stamp to the front and rear endpapers, otherwise the pages are clean. Illustrated with several photographic images. pp. ix + 251. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
