Hardback. A 1960 First Edition. Signed to the half title page by core members of the team who built the company from its founding in 1920 through its most famous eras. The signatures include, Geoffrey De Havilland the company's founder, C.C. Walker a founding director and the company's chief engineer, F.T. Hearle brother-in-law to De Havilland and eventually the chairman of the company, W.E Nixon who joined the company as secretary and later became chairman and managing director. This copy is complete with its dust jacket with just a little edge wear although overall in good condition, not price clipped. Underneath lie blue cloth boards which are in excellent condition. There is some foxing along the top edge, although the pages within are clean. Illustrated with several photographic images. pp. 419. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
