Within the pages of this book, the reader is treated to an illustrated record of the war in the air, containing crucial information about victories won by notable aces and other hitherto unpublished details. This copy is in good condition - other than some minor staining and wearing to the boards and a small ink stain to the front free endpaper, the interior remains remarkably clean and readable. The original dustjacket, on the other hand, has suffered significant losses and thus can only be described as fair. "Fighting Planes and Aces" by W. E. Johns is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any military aviation or W. E. Johns enthusiast.
