Take to the skies with this incredible set of 12 Original De Havilland Aircraft Manuals, now at St Mary's Books. Notable editions in this set include an exceptionally clean and bright copy of the rare "Puss Moth" manual, with only a few small ex-owner paste-downs and stamps on the title page, this edition is alone worth £300-600. In addition, one finds a "Hornet Moth" manual within this set, another rare copy, which though is less well-preserved and marred with ex-owner inscriptions and stamps, is nevertheless very collectable. In general, each softcover manual is in very good condition, bound in brightly coloured leather with gold gilt lettering, their pages remain clean and bright with some manuals including inscriptions, stamps or paste downs from previous owners. Each manual begins with a few pages of text before being completed with fold-out diagrams to aid the aviator.
