The official technical manual for several variants of the Bristol Jupiter radial aero engines. This volume, specifically covers the Jupiter VIII F., VIII F.P. XIF. & XIF.P. This copy has been quarter bound in blue cloth with blue paper covered sides. There is a small white numerical mark to the base of the spine and a little lifting of the paper to the front board. The binding, however is remarkably in good condition given the age of the book. Internally there is a ex-libris label to the front paste-down. The rest of the pages are very clean. Illustrated with several line drawings, a few in colour and a few folding. pp. xiv + 236. A fascinating volume and part of a huge aviation collection acquired by St Marys Books.
