The Royal Air Force, possibly published in 1938 provides an overview of the British air service during the late interwar period, just before the outbreak of the Second World War. The work was part of a series of aviation themed books by F.V. Monk & H.T. Winter. This copy is complete with it's pictorial dust jacket, which although only in fair condition, is unusual to find. The blue cloth boards are in good condition despite a little bumping and a slight lean to the spine. There is a small neat signature to the front free end-paper and light foxing to the margins of the text. Otherwise a good copy. Illustrated with several black and white photographic images. pp. 223. A scarce copy and part of a huge aviation collection acquired by St Marys Books.
