A 1936 First Edition copy of Walter Mittelholzer's first hand account of his trailblazing aerial expeditions and his role in early 20th century civil aviation. This copy is complete with it's unclipped dust jacket over blue cloth boards. The dust jacket is a little worn although still presents well while the cloth boards are faded and lightly discoloured. There is scattered foxing throughout, predominately to the prelims, and a neat inscription to the front paste-down. However the pages are generally clean and illustrated with several black and white photographic images. pp. xiv + 201. A scarce copy and part of a huge aviation collection just acquired by St Marys Books.
