This 1939 First Edition copy is the travel memoir of Marjorie Shuler that chronicles her journey as the first women to fly around the world as a passenger on commercial airlines. The voyage took place between June 1938 and June 1939, beginning and ending in Marseilles, France. This copy is bound in silver coloured cloth with titles printed in blue to the front and spine. There is a lttle lifting of the cloth and bumping to the corners with a slight lean to the spine. The pages within are very clean despite some foxing, illustrated with several black and white photographic plates. pp. 261. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
