Aeroplane Structures is a foundational aviation textbook first published in July 1919 and widely considered one of the first comprehensive works on aircraft structural design and the strength of materials. Both of the authors worked at the Admiralty and later the Air Ministry, where they were at the forefront of establishing structural safety standards for the Royal Air Force. Our copy is bound in blue cloth with embossed titles to the front and gilt titles to the spine. The book is profusley illustrated with diagrams, charts and the occasional black and white photographic plate. Overall a very good copy with minimal wear to the binding and the pages clean. pp. xii + 359. Overall a very good copy and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
