A 1976 First Edition copy, signed by the authors to the front free endpaper. The book features biographies and stories of five distinct pilots, including Frederick "Ben" Rice, who famously sank the German submarine U-64 during the Second Battle of Narvik. Our copy shows a little wear to the dust jacket while underneath the blue cloth boards are in good condition, despite minor toning along the extremities. There are two small inscritpions from the authors to the front free endpaper. The rest of the pages are clean and illustrated with photographic plates. pp. 224. Overall a very good copy, a suitable gift idea for any aviation enthusiast.
