Aerodynamics Selected Topics In The Light Of Their Historical Development provides an accessible, non-technical history of the science behind flight. This 1954, First Edition copy, traces the evolution of aerodynamic theory from Isaac Newton's early observations through the mid 20th century breakthroughs that enabled supersonic travel. This copy is complete with it's dust jacket, although worn with pieces missing. Underneath the blue cloth boards show light fading to the extremities, although clean and showing minimal wear. There are two neat signatures to the front free end-paper, the rest of the pages are clean and illustrated with several diagrams and photographic plates. pp. ix + 203. Overall a good addition to any aviation library.
