First published in the mid 1930's by Phillips & Powis Aircraft Limited, it was the official combined flight and maintenance manual for the "Whitney Straight". It covers essential procedures for the wood-constructed, two-seat grand touring aircraft. This copy is bound with paper covers with the publisher's motif to the front. The covers do show some discolouration with a little edge wear. There is a previous owner's signature along the top edge of the front cover. Overall though, this copy is in very good condition with the pages within clean and illustrated with several folding diagrams. A superb example and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
