The Hon. Charles Stewart ( C.S.) Rolls, co-founder of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, famously experienced his first aeroplane flight as a passenger of Wilbur Wright on 8th October 1908. This historic event took place at Camp d'Auvours, located near Le Mans, France, and lasted approximately four minutes and twenty seconds. This flight made Rolls only the second Briton to ever go up in an aeroplane. A fascinating little copy, published in 1964 with yellow card over paper covers. In very good condition with just a little fading to the yellow card and a thumb mark to the title page. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
