The book provides a candid account of his experiences in aerial combat and his final battle with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. This copy is complete with its dust jacket which is ligtly worn, especially to the extremities. Underneath it is quarter bound in blue cloth with pale blue paper covered sides. The pages are very clean. pp. ix + 245. Overall a very good copy. An ideal addition to any aviation collection.
