Issued by the U.S Army Air Forces (USAAF) on September 15, 1942, this manual was a critical navigational guide for the North Atlantic Route during World War II. It provided pilots with the classified information needed to ferry aircraft and supplies from the United States to Great Britain as part of the BOLERO movement. This copy is in very good condition despite a little discolouration to the covers, the corners lightly curled. The pages are clean and illustrated with maps and photographs. pp. 157 + 4. A rare manual and part of a huge aviation collection just acquired by St Marys Books.
