Out Of The Blue is a collection of aviation and flying stories published in the late 1930's Edited by "Flight Lieutenant", widley attributed to W.E. Johns, author of the Biggles Series. This copy is complete with it's pictorial dust jacket. Covered in a clear plastic adhesive wrap, the dust jacket shoes some edge wear with a small piece missing to the rear and some fading to the spine. Quarter bound in red cloth with paper-covered sides, the front board features a bright and clean pictorial image. There is a little edge wear to the boards and spine, however the binding is in very good condition. The pages are very clean despite being toned with the occasional spot of foxing, and white marker to the front free end-paper. Illustrated with several line drawings, four coloured plates and four in monotone. pp. 248. Overall a good copy scarce to find complete with it's dust jacket.
