Flying Thrills is an anthology of aviation stories edited by "Flight Lieutenant" a pseudonym of W.E. Johns, of Biggles fame. It primarily focuses on World War I aerial combat written by several authors including, W.E. Johns, G.E. Rochester, Arch Whitehouse, A.S. Long and Vigilant. This copy has been covered with brown paper which is detachable. The pictorial boards are in very good condition despite a little creasing to the spine. There is an inscritpion to the front free endpaper, toning and the occasional spot of foxing to the pages. Illustrated with four plates in monotone, including frontispiece and six in colour. pp. 248. Overall a very good copy, a must for any fan of W.E. Johns.
