Forty Years Of The Spitfire is the official published proceedings of the Mitchell Memorial Symposium. The event was held at the University of Southampton on Saturday, 6th March 1976. It was organised and published by the Southampton branch of The Royal Aeronautical Society. This copy bound in paper covered thick card is in very good condition despite a little wear to the binding. The pages are bright and clean. A samll piece of tape has been applied along both the front and rear internal hinges. pp. 143. Overall a very good copy and a must for any aviation enthusiast.
