Published By: Pitman Publishing Corporation

This book written by Merrill E. De Longe and published in 1943 served as a definitive World War II guide for designing airfields that could resist visual detection and aerial bombardment. This copy has an inscription from the author to the front free endpaper together with a loose piece of paper with handwritten pilots names and a small photograph with pilots' standing in front of an aeroplane. The dust jacket on this copy is worn with pieces missing. The cloth boards underneath, however, are in good condition. The pages are clean although lightly toned. pp. 167.
