Leave Me With A Smile is a novel written in 1928 based on Elliott White Springs own experiences as a flying ace of World War I. The story follows a young, disillusioned combat aviator returning home to the American South after the end of World War I. This copy is bound in blue and cream checkered cloth with a small paper onlay to the spine. The cloth has dulled over time with chipping to the paper onlay, slight lean and toning to the spine. There is an inscription signed from the author to the front free endpaper. The title and copyright page are missing with the pages lightly toned although clean. pp. 288. Overall a scarce title and a lovely addition to any library.
