An authoritative military history book written by the unit's wartime commander, Squadron Leader Lawrence Arthur Pattinson. Published in 1920 this factual work is drawn straight from the squadron's official operational diary to document its strategic daylight bombing campaign during the final months of World War I. This copy, bound in blue cloth with titles in gilt to the front and spine, displays some discolouration and fading to the spine. Internally the front paste-down is stained, possibly caused by damp with light staining along the top edge of the prelims. The rest of the pages are clean and illustrated with many black and white photographs and a loose map. pp. 74. Overall a good addition to any aviation library.
