Written by prolific British author George Gibbard Jackson, this book is an informative guide to the early days of aviation, with numerous black and white plates of period aircraft. The book is undated but widely attributed to the 1930's. This copy is complete with its pictorial dust jacket although in good condition does display some chipping and wear. Underneath, the red cloth boards are bright and clean but display minor edge wear. There is some foxing along the top and fore-edge of the text block. Presentation label to the front paste down, the rest of the pages are clean. pp. vii + 192. A scarce copy, a must for any aviation enthusiast.
