Written by prolific British author George Gibbard Jackson, this book is an informative guide to the early days of aviation, with numerous black and white plates of period aircraft. The book is undated but widely attributed to the 1930's. This copy is complete with its pictorial dust jacket. Underneath, the bright red cloth boards show minor edge wear. The jacket itself displays some chipping and shelf wear. There is some foxing along the top and fore-edge of the text block, however the pages within are clean despite a a presentation label to the front paste down. pp. vii + 192. A scarce copy, a must for any aviation enthusiast.
