The celebrated debut book by acclaimed aviation historian Dilip Sarkar MBE. It provides a detailed history of the Royal Air Force's famous No. 19 Squadron, which was the very first operational unit to be equipped with the Supermarine Spitfire. This first edition copy, published in 1990 is in very good condition. The dust jacket displays some fading to the spine with a little off-setting to the covers. However, it is clean and still present well. The binding underneath and the pages within are in very good condition. Illustrated with black and white photographic plates. pp. 192. A must for any aviation enthusiast.
