An Aeronautics Yearbook for the Year 1929 with French Text. This historic publication was a comprehensive trade directory and annual reference guide for the global aviation industry. It contains list of aircraft manufacturers, technical data, civil and military aviation statistics, and international industry contacts during the golden age of aviation. Edited by Jean Reimbert, this copy has been quarter bound in black buckram with purple silk sides. Gold titles and small aeroplane emblem to the front with gold titles to the spine. There is some wear and discolouration to the binding, as expected with its usage and age. Internally there are few library stamps to the prelims, the rest of the pages although toned are clean. The book is divided into sections with each new section separated by coloured card, with a pictorial paper onlay and titles to each card. The text of each section are surrounded by a coloured border, a different colour for each section. The text block remains quite firm, remarkable considering its age and usage. With French Text this is a rare copy and part of a huge aviation collection just acquired by St Marys Books.
