St Mary's Books is proud to present this 1924 limited edition copy of "Aeronautical Prints & Drawings" with text by Lt.-Col. W. Lockwood Marsh. Housed in its original pale green dustjacket with black ink lettering, this hardback book is bound in royal blue buckram with gold gilt lettering and a small illustration of an aircraft on the cover. Inside one finds i-xx, 36 pages of text, and 87 plates of illustrations to the back of the book. This beautifully presented work which aims "to enable the collector to have a fair idea of the pictorial representations that appeared of the chief aeronautical ascents and projects" is filled with beautiful full-colour and black ink aviation illustrations. This book is in very good condition, with few notable blemishes or imperfections, it has been well-preserved despite its age. The original dustjacket, on the other hand, can only be described as good, as it has suffered significant damage which has been repaired. "Aeronautical Prints & Drawings" is looking for a new home and would make for the perfect gift for any aviation enthusiast.
